At approximately four inches long and two inches wide, Mini Vehicle sets produced by Green Toys provide children with a fun means of entertainment. Of significant concern, however, are recent reports that caution the use of these toys by young children. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the wheels and hubcaps on the toy cars can detach, posing as a choking hazard to some. As a result, the CPSC, in association with Green Toys Inc., have initiated a recall of approximately 50,000 toy cars in the United States.

Green Toys Mini Vehicle Recall Lawsuit Overview
As a pioneer in the toy industry, Green Toys Inc. produces a line of classic children’s toys constructed completely out of recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of the planet. As one of their most popular products, Mini Vehicle Sets consist of tiny Ambulances, Police Cars, Taxis, and Red Fastbacks. Sticking true to their motto, these miniature car sets are made out of recycled plastic milk jugs.
Unfortunately, however, many consumers may be unaware that these Mini Vehicle Sets can coincide with serious injuries. According to the CPSC, the wheels and hubcaps on each of the toy cars may exhibit a propensity for failure. Subsequently, these pieces may detach from the whole, significantly increasing a child’s risk of choking.
In response to the increase of adverse reports, the CPSC, in association with Green Toys Inc., have initiated a recall of approximately 50,000 toy cars in the United States. Due to the rate and severity in which these adverse incidents may occur, the manufacturer may become the target of a Green Toys Mini Vehicle recall lawsuit.
